HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CENTRAL MIDLANDS VINTAGE STATIONARY ENGINE CLUB, WE ARE TEN YEARS OLD ON MAY 7TH 2007. 

The aim of our club is the restoration and presentation of old stationary engines or barn engines as they are sometimes known and any relevant farm machinery and equipment. Vintage collections and memorabilia. The club was started on the 7th May 1997. We like to limit members to fifty.

we have members with barn engines, tractors,motor bikes, cars, models, working displays, static displays and vintage collections eg. collection of tilly lamps,old cameras, a collection of milk churns, vintage lawn mowers, wooden toys, blow lamps, kitchen and laundrey equipment ,working minature steam , cycles, auto cycles,etc .all things vintage.

We hold our meetings at St. Mary’s Church hall, Market Street, Atherstone, the first Friday in every month, except for December, when we have a Christmas social night on a Saturday night , you are under no obligation to attend but you would be made very welcome. Tea and coffee comes free of charge!

Batches are on sale, and a raffle is held to help towards the cost of the evening.

Your membership fee includes a £5,000,000 public liability insurance and covers you for any rally or show in the British Isles, as long as you run strictly to the safety code. It also includes a membership to the N.F.U. country side. Your Insurance card will get you into any N.F.U. stand if they are at the shows, usually agricultural shows and entitle you to any free refreshments they are providing. You will find at most shows and rallies you will be asked for proof of insurance , so please carry your membership card with you at all shows
