The Generator

The clubs newly aquired generator (aka The Beast) arrived 9th May 2009. This is a major step forward in our Clubhouse project and deserves a page of it's own.

 The Beast Arrives |
Our new generator is a Dorman Diesel Generator set. It was made by Austinlite and comprises a 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine. Technical details are 24 volt starting. 76.25kva generator ,106 amps 1,000 r.p.m. Single/three phase 230/415 volt. Click the picture left to see the video. |

Another period artefact arrives in the shape of a genuine MOW (Ministry of Works) Fire Extinguisher. Covered in genuine dust and modelled by the Webmaster. It may even work. the extuinguisher that is not the Webmaster! Cleaned up, the Extinguisher will add a period feel to the house of the Beast! |
